Membership

Anyone with an interest in energy economics is eligible to become an APEEN member and will enjoy the following benefits:

• Reduced registration fees at conferences and seminars organised by APEEN and its partners.
• Dissemination of the work and projects in which APEEN members are involved.
• Membership of a diverse network of energy economics professionals, fostering participation in debates with experts on key issues affecting the energy sector, alongside policy makers, academics and practitioners.
• Participation in APEEN general assembly meetings, helping to define the association’s lines of development.
• Promotion of international networks and contacts through the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), of which APEEN is the affiliate for Portugal.

Members of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) whose country of registration is Portugal are automatically members of APEEN, and therefore enjoy all the benefits of APEEN individual membership. In addition, they have access to a set of benefits provided by IAEE, such as subscriptions to the journals “The Energy Journal” and “Economics of Energy and Environmental Policy” and to the quarterly newsletter “Energy Forum”.
